To launch this podcast, Denver Leigh interviews a young professional who shares his passion and experience of self-advocacy and Autism. Robert Schmus proudly refers to himself as an "Aspie", which denotes his diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and is further explained throughout the interview. During this hour, Robert shares personal details about his diagnosis and how it both challenged and inspired him throughout high school and college, as well as in his professional field of social work. Denver Leigh and Robert break down the stereotype and leave no stone of topic unturned, including sensitive subjects such as bullying, discrimination, and intimacy.
